We strictly do not tolerate any form of harassment. We strive to build an inclusive space for people from all different walks of life to solve the world's pressing environmental issues. Behavior that constitutes as harassment includes but is not limited to:

We value your attendance. Any Envirothon staff will be happy to help participants contact any local security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the hackathon.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all associated venues and platforms at all times. At any time throughout the event, including pre-event and post-event, any removal/suspension of attendees could be made at the organizing team's discretion.

Any attendee, speakers, sponsors, co-hosts, judges, volunteers, competitors found harassing someone else will be subjected to disqualification and/or removal from this event and any future Civiso-initiated events.

All submitted policy proposals, project, hack projects, and pitches must be their respective team's work. Citations must be provided, if applicable. Any form of plagiarism may result in disqualification.

If you witnessed a violation of our Code of Conduct, please immediately contact: [email protected]. If any violation of the Code of Conduct escalates to a severe degree, whereby staffers at the Envirothon 2021 are unable to assist you, please contact your local authorities.
