The Chief Project Officer manages all operations conducted within the projects department. This person is responsible in ensuring the Board of Directors is all up to date with ongoing project, project statuses, and any issues that arises. Serves as the appointer for all Projects-related operations.
Expansion & Function: Design, analyze, develop roles that are necessary for Civiso's project department to function efficiently. Create and implement new initiatives led by Civiso, maintaining awareness to other student-led nonprofits, potential partnerships, and expansion opportunities. Point of contact for external contacts & operations.
Management: Oversee and ensure all operations (within the Projects department) are running smoothly and meeting all deadlines to ensure maximum growth and internal development. Leads all development of long-term strategies and execution. Works closely with the Human Resources department to find project managers.
Project: Develop and implement internal governance systems to ensure proper care, and to provide a high-quality experience for all Civiso project constituents. Design and streamline a system for project initiation, project partnership, project development. Works on initiating projects.
Performance: The CPO address any concerns brought up by the Human Resources Team. If anyone has a concern or a note to make about any of their co-members, directors, the CPO ensure they are at the liberty of providing transparent information. Upholds social responsibility for ensuring all members / directors are working cooperatively within the Projects Department.
