Workshop #3 - echoAR: How to Build a Cloud-Connected AR/VR App | 3:00 - 3:40 PM EDT

Hey @everyone,

We hope you're enjoying the event so far! We'd like to remind everyone that our third workshop, “echoAR: How to Build a Cloud-Connected AR/VR App,” will take place between 3:00 PM EDT and 3:40 PM EDT. 🤖🤖🤖

Koren Grinshpoon, the founder of echoAR , has recorded a video to demonstrate how to create AR/VR apps and scale existing apps by connecting them to the cloud. Participants will also learn how to create real-time cloud-connected augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) apps using the echoAR platform.

Although this workshop is open to all, we highly recommend students participating in the hackathon to join. There's a channel dedicated to echoAR help if any participants need help with their echoAR projects.

Workshop #4- Secret in the Soil: What ancient dirt can tell us about climate, sea level, and our coastlines | 4:00 - 4:45 PM EDT

Hey @everyone!

Our fourth workshop: “Secrets in the soil: What ancient dirt can tell us about climate, sea level, and our coastlines,” will take place at 4:00 - 4:45 PM EDT (in around 10 minutes).

Our next guest speaker, Jesse Thornburg, is a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Temple University. Today, he is here to talk about the thin veneer of sediment known as soil. By discovering and analyzing these sediments, we can piece together and understand how our landscape responds to changes in climate or sea level to better anticipate and manage our expectations into the future.
